Harbourside College Newhaven

UTC@Harbourside is based in Newhaven Harbour in the historic Grade II listed marine and carpenter's workshops. Within a tight budgetary envelope the design combines conservation of the old with new buildings in a quayside setting. Our aim was to incorporate the area's engineering history and estuary ecology into the design, creating a symbol for the focus of the facility's curriculum. The development will act as a catalyst for the further economic and social regeneration of Newhaven.
