Giuseppe Russo
Project Technician
Masters in 2D and 3D design at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, Italy 2005
As a Project Technician at Colour, Giuseppe (Joe) provides dependable technical support across design and assessment projects at all stages.
With a Master’s degree in 2D and 3D design from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, he brings a strong grounding in digital graphics and a collaborative, steady approach that makes him a valued member of the team.
Joe’s skills span sketching, visualisation, problem‑solving, production drawings and construction detailing, supported by proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, AutoCAD, Illustrator, 3D Studio Max, V‑Ray, Revit and SketchUp. His ability to communicate design ideas clearly has contributed to a wide range of projects, including public parks, community outdoor activity centres, bespoke Paragraph 84 homes and leisure facilities across the UK. A particularly significant contribution has been his work on the Hillingdon Water Sports Facility, where he produced clear technical diagrams and visual material to support complex coordination between landform, water and habitat within a sensitive SSSI landscape.
Recent projects also include a new public square in Farnborough, a proposed boathouse on the Salcombe–Kingsbridge Estuary, Gravesham Leisure Centre, Bedworth Physical Activity Hub, a solar farm in the North East and a new SEMH school near Huddersfield.
Joe focuses on ensuring emerging designs are accurately represented and easy for clients and project teams to understand. Outside the studio, he continues to develop his photography, exploring the relationship between landscapes, built environments and everyday life.
A personal dream is to have my photography published by National Geographic. It has always been a secret passion, as I enjoy capturing moments that connect people, nature and place.
