Colour have developed proposals to accompany the restoration and extension of this Grade II* listed building to provide a luxury wedding and events venue. Our scheme balances the needs of the commercial enterprise (parking, servicing), with the sensitive nature of the grounds which include listed walls, protected trees and the line of the Vallum (part of Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site). The grounds will have a series of gardens that complement the proposed building uses and have been designed to provide year-round interest.
