BA Landscape Architecture & Design, Leeds Beckett University 2024

Georgiana joined Colour in 2024 from the BA landscape course at Leeds Beckett University following work experience with Colour.

She is a passionate about incorporating environmental solutions into places for people at all scales having won the prestigious Landscape Institute Yorkshire and Humber ‘Best Overall Student of the Year 2024’ award. In addition her research on urban heat islands was published in ‘Nature Based Solutions’. Georgiana’s project, ‘Jardin de Moura,’ won the 2024 Portuguese Internacional de Jardins competition.

Georgiana has made a great contributed to key projects in the studio such as the National Library of Wales, the King Alfred Leisure Centre in Hove and as part of the team that won the Farrell Centre’s Flyover Futures’ competition where her innovative approach to sustainable design stands out.

I enjoy working at Colour because of the variety of projects and the opportunity to combine creative design with a focus on habitats and biodiversity.

I particularly enjoy contributing to spaces that balance the needs of people with the natural environment - encouraging biodiversity and creating meaningful places for communities.
