Portfolio // University & Campus Design

Recognising that the academic and student environment is a unique synthesis of diverse components, requirements and functions, Colour works closely with universities and colleges to create a dynamic that aptly portrays the values of academic institutions and the campus as a coherent whole.

Mental and physical wellbeing is central to this approach for both retrofits and new development with the aim of attracting, nurturing and retaining good staff and students. Colour deliver rounded settings for educational excellence with new public realm and climate resilient gardens.

In addition to the ground-breaking active landscape for Loughborough University, Colour has successfully worked with the Universities of Cambridge, Oxford and University College London across academic, recreational, residential, sports and welfare functions.

We work both on the transformation of existing settings and the creation of brand new facilities.
